The Yorkville Nutcracker
2011 marks the 16th Anniversary of Francis Patrelle's unique rendition of Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky's holiday classic, The Nutcracker. Set in the year 1895, Dances Patrelle's The Yorkville Nutcracker brings the audience along on an action-packed tour of some of New York's most beloved landmarks. Come with us to a holiday party at Gracie Mansion. Watch as ice skaters, bundled up in their turn-of-the century best, whir through the snow in Central Park. Marvel as the Sugar Plum Fairy welcomes you to her mystical land of sweets — is that the glass conservatory of the Bronx Botanical Garden?Performances Dates and Times:
